Walking may not be as exercise driven as running, but you’d probably be surprised to know just how good it can be for your health and lifestyle. Walking to your local park can give you some time to really understand where you’re at in life, and you’ll be burning off calories in the process – so it’s two birds, one stone.
You really can clear your mind when you’re taking a walk, and an open area like a park, a forest or the open countryside is ideal, because there are no distractions. If you’re the type of individual that spends a large amount of time walking, you may find that you feel fitter, more energetic and active.
For a more intensive workout, running or swimming is obviously ideal, but walking has so many positive effects and yet it is often underrated in terms of exercise, but that should never be the case.
