After a busy week, something a lot of people will want to do is kick back, relax and let their stresses melt away. Obviously, you could go for a lovely spa day, or perhaps jet off on a quick holiday, but not everyone wants to spend this sort of money. What are the ways of relaxing on a shoestring budget?
Firstly, why not make your own spa resort at home? Run a nice bubbly bath, enjoy a glass or wine (or fruit juice for the healthy people!), read a book or simple doze while your muscles relax. Afterwards, smooth on some rich body moisturiser (did you know coconut oil is a great treat for skin?). Give your arms and legs a good massage and really let the moisture lock in.
If you fancy a trip out, but without spending a penny, why not pack up a picnic using any food you have left over at home, and go out for a family walk? This is great as the exercise will release stress busting endorphins and you won’t need to buy any lunch!
